2025 has been beautifully stretching 🦋 I’m grateful that I’m living a life I dreamed of, even on hard days. Grateful for my community, every opportunity, and the ability to live in my purpose each and every day. God is toooo good! 🤍

In reflecting, and looking ahead, there’s one scripture in mind — “May God himself, the God who makes everything holy and whole, make you holy and whole, put you together—spirit, soul, and body—and keep you fit for the coming of our Master, Jesus Christ. The One who called you is completely dependable. If he said it, he’ll do it!” — ‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5‬:‭23‬-‭24‬ ‭MSG‬‬ 🤎🤍

When I was a teenager, I struggled a lot. I struggled with depression, suicidal ideation, lust, addiction, insecurity and rejection. I didn’t know if restoration was possible. I had no idea what God had planned for my life. I didn’t know I was chosen.

Ten years later, I’m leading teenagers. Alongside @rehobothceus for the past three years, we’ve been leading a Chozen generation to Christ and it’s not a task we take lightly. It’s about souls. Years ago, I didn’t know who I was or where I would be but now I know. I’m chosen.

Often, I’m asked what it’s like to be a leader, and more specifically a youth leader. I struggle to find a precise answer but I typically say it’s hard, and I genuinely love it so much. I learned quickly that leadership is more than a title and planning events. It’s hard laying your life down on the altar you are trying to lead people to. It’s hard to withstand spiritual warfare on behalf of those you are interceding for. It’s hard when light shines in the dark places of your life like your flaws, mistakes, and insecurities. But truthfully, God called us to hard too.

There’s nothing more rewarding for me than seeing the Chozen Teens on fire for God. It truly gladdens my heart when they are in sweet fellowship with one another, and growing intentionally in community. It’s safe to say, these past few years, as a youth and young adults leader have transformed me in more ways than I have language for — and for that I’m overwhelmed with gratitude.

I’d like to especially thank my Leaders, Pastors, Mentors and Teachers for trusting me, challenging me, and encouraging me along the way. I don’t know who I would be without your guidance, thank you so much Pastor @joeasmah, Pastor @eunice.asmah, Pastor Mike @mezocooke and Minister @cliffordakyei 🤍🥹
